Learn how to make Thandai at home with chef Seema only on Swaad Anusaar <br /> <br />On the special occassion of Holi, go ahead and make Holi special Thandai. Its easy to make and and a perfect drink to celebrate the festival of colors. Watch and learn only on Swaad Anusaar <br /> <br />Ingredients <br />- 11/2 lt milk <br />- 11/2 cup of sugar <br />- Saffron <br />- 20-25 Almond <br />- Cashewnuts <br />- 1/4th cup of Pista <br />- 1/4th cup of Melon Seeds <br />- Fennel seeds <br />- 3tbsp Poppy Seeds ( Khas Khas ) <br />- 1tbsp Cardamom & Cinnamon <br />- milk <br /> <br />Method <br /> <br />- Boil milk and add sugar to it. <br /> <br />- Add saffron to it and mix well <br /> <br />- Grind together Almond, Cashewnuts, Pista, Melon Seeds, Fennel seeds, Poppy Seeds (Khas Khas),Cardamom & Cinnamon,milk <br /> <br />- Mix the mixture with the kesar milk <br /> <br />- Turn on the flame and boil the mixture than turn off the flame and add some Cinnamon and Rose water <br /> <br />- Let it cool for 10 minutes and add some ice to the glass pour the Thandai & the thandai is ready to be served! <br /> <br />- Garnish the Thandai with Pista, Elaichi powder & Kesar!
